1. Boerne City Lake Park

1 City Park Rd, Boerne, TX

Located at 1 City Park Rd, about one-mile northwest of town. Enjoy a host of outdoor recreational activities. The park is open from 5 am to 10 pm, 365 days a year. Boerne residents get in FREE and Kendall County Residents pay a nominal fee.

The lake is a terrific way to spend quality time with your kids. And since the fee is per vehicle, you can even have them bring along a friend or two at no extra cost and make it a day to remember!

2.  River Road Park &  Cibolo Trail

River Road, Boerne, TX

Plan a visit to one of Boerne’s most popular parks conveniently located in downtown Boerne along River Road. Children and adults alike will enjoy watching the abundance of wild ducks and geese that make this area home. And at the east end of the park, you’ll find the Dietert Mill Dam with its man-made waterfall.

Do you enjoy walking, running, hiking, or biking? Cibolo Trail offers 3 miles of fully paved trail that parallels Cibolo Creek allowing plenty of room for a slow stroll or a bike ride. Following along the Cibolo Creek, you’ll find several access points to begin your journey. The North Trailhead begins at 100 N. Main St. and the South Trailhead at 106 City Park Road

While you’re enjoying the peace and serenity of this beautiful park and trail, keep an eye out for the many turtles that sunbathe along the far bank. Bring a picnic or snack, but please don’t feed the ducks your lunch.  The park is a wonderful way to spend a few relaxing hours outdoors!

3.  Kinderpark

Highland St, Boerne, TX

The perfect family park for the little ones. It’s easy to find on the corner of Water Street and Highland Street. Kinderpark is fenced and shaded. And it’s a great way for your kids to meet and play with other kids. Open from 6 am to 10 pm, Kinderpark offers a unique and exciting playground to explore. Your kids will come home tired and happy after a day filled with lots of fun!

4.  Boerne Skate Park

524 Adler St, Boerne, TX

For kids who love the thrill of extreme sports, Boerne Skate Park is the place for them. Its open from dawn to dusk for beginners to intermediate and is conveniently located across from Curington Elementary School at 524 Adler Street.

The park is 7,500 square feet featuring a one-of-a-kind streetscape plaza-style skate design. The Skate Park was designed and built by SPA Skate Parks of Austin. It gets a hardy thumbs-up from the hundreds of visitors each year!
